The story goes like this, 1 employee very unsatisfied with his manager because he was not treated fairly, so he decided to quit to show his unhappiness after he got a good offer from another company. But then his manager gave him a pay rise of 20%, so he happily stayed back. Then he becomes very unhappy again with the same issue after 1 month, so he decided to quit again. Then his manager gave him a "supervisor" position and gave him another pay rise of 20%. Too good to refuse, stay back again. Then he found himself becoming more and more unhappy, cannot explain why, but because money is good he stays back and choose to become forgetful. After a while, he was fired because company not doing well, retrenchment, his manager happily wield the axe over him, no heartache. The good offer already not present anymore because economy is no good, while he had to start all over again with another job. 

This is how things work out for most of us. We always get unhappy, but we didnt address the root of our unhappiness. We easily become forgetful when we are given "gula2". When we move out of our comfort zone, we easily become uncomfortable and move back to the comfort zone. We are all brought up to keep quiet and dont dive your nose into other people matters even if it means it will affect you. We become forgetful because RM 625 is a good money to spend. We become forgetful because we want the share market to rise, not share market to fall. We become forgetful because last time can do business easily and have many lobang for money, now no more projects. We become forgetful because we get scholarship to go overseas while others equivalent qualified people dont get it. We become forgetful because we already made our first million while others havent. We become forgetful because we can emigrate to other countries and live happily ever after while forget about Malaysia.

So they said stop political bickering, go back to work! (sounds like very noble) Well, the truth is if you are doing such a good job, the political bickering wouldnt have taken place, or there is any need or relevant in political bickering. What is not right, must be fixed, and cannot be forgotten just like that with a few "gula2". We fight for all equality and not for our own benefit. So we must be firm and united, be patient, things that are not right now must be fixed and changed, even though it means we need to go through a difficult process.

KLSE can dip, but once things are stabilized, it will return even to achieve higher grounds, want to see KLSE acheiving 3000 points? Projects can be lost now, but once thing is fixed, you can get project based on meritocracy and not relationship. 

So if your manager offered you "gula2" when you are changing for better course, just tell him "no, thanks!". - Too bad companies are not built on democratic system. :D
